Pix from our moto adventures: travels around the US, Spain, race tracks, and to the grocery store.

In the hills above Santa Ynez.
Only 35 miles by the direct route, the fourth day involved a 200-mile meander over the moutains, then back towards the Coast, and Ojai.
The old stagecoach roads covered some wild terrain.
The ride was a week too early for the blossoms.
A view from the hills on Happy Canyon Road, near Santa Ynez.
An exploration up Figeroa Mountain presented some interesting road conditions, including having the ford a stream nearly two feet deep. The GS just shrugged.
Oops, 18 miles and 4000 feet up Figueroa Mountain Road, and this sign appeared. Back the way I came.
This picture doesn't do justice to the steep ravines that the roads weave around.
But before turning around, there was a mighty view to take in.
There was a long stretch across Cayuma that didn't have much to offer in the way of gas or food.v
A lovely road above Sisquoc.
Rich ranchland in the hills east of Santa Barbara.
The long road down into Ojai.
A rich valley floor.
The Ojai Valley, home of citrus, vineyards and a chill attitude.
The final day was a boogie run down through Simi Valley then Decker Canyon above Malibu, and into Long Beach.
Venice Beach at sunset.
The Santa Monica pier.
Chez Jay - Feeding generations of hungry transients with no-frills home cooking.
A thousand grand miles full of unforgettable roads, vistas, and the best that California has to offer.
Says it all...
